Exceptions on the regular performance review process
Throughout the year anything can happen which might impact your performance review process. We have listed the most comon situations and what happens in that situation.
Temporary absence (<3 months):
In the event a Tiqeteer is absent at the moment the appraisals are being held (for whatever reason), and it is not possible to do the appraisal by phone or Zoom, the appraisal shall be postponed upon return of the Tiqeteer within max 3 months. The appraisal and potential salary increase will be processed retrospectively as of January 1st of the year.
Longterm absence (>3 months):
In the event a Tiqeteer is longterm absent at the moment the appraisals are being held because of sickness, the appraisal can only take place when the Tiqeteers is to be expected to return to work for at least 75% of their regular hours within 4 weeks. In that case the appraisal and potential salary increase will be processed retrospectively as of January 1st of the year. In case the Tiqeteer is not to be expected to return to work for at least 75% of their regular hours, the appraisal cannot take place and no salary increase will take place retrospectively.
In case the Tiqeteer returns to work for at least 75% of their regular hours before the start of the mid-year appraisal, HR and Core MT have the possibility to review performance and compensation halfway in the year.
In the event a Tiqeteer is longterm absent at the moment the appraisals are being held because of any type of longterm absence (excluding sickness) and the Tiqeteers itself is not to return within 4 weeks, the appraisal cannot take place. In case the Tiqeteer returns to work before the start of the mid-year appraisal, HR and Core MT have the possibility to review performance and compensation halfway in the year.
Temporary absence because of maternity leave:
In the event a Tiqeteer is on maternity leave, the appraisals are being reasonably postponed. Any salary increase will take place in consultation with the Manager and Core MT.
Joined Tiqets during the year:
In the event a Tiqeteer joined Tiqets on October 1st or later, the Tiqeteer is not eligible for a end-year appraisal and possible salary increase per January the following year.
Changed position:
In the event a Tiqeteer changes position on October 1st or later, the Tiqeteer is not eligible for a end-year appraisal and possible salary increase per January the following year. An increase in salary should have been taken in consideration in the promotion.
Changed Manager:
In the event a Tiqeteer gets a new Manager, there are multiple options for the appraisal:
Change before October 1st
The previous Manager is still employed at Tiqets --> The new Manager is responsible for the appraisal but is requested to ask for input from the previous Manager. The new Manager will conduct the appraisal.
The previous Manager is no longer employed at Tiqets --> The previous Manager should provide the new Manager with a written overview on the performance of the Tiqeteers in their team. The new Manager will conduct the appraisal with that input and their first impressions.
Change on October 1st or later
The previous Manager is still employed at Tiqets --> The previous Manager is still responsible for the appraisal but will connect with the new Manager and they will conduct the appraisal together.
The previous Manager is no longer employed at Tiqets --> The previous Manager should provide the new Manager with a written overview on the performance of the Tiqeteers in their team. The new Manager will conduct the appraisal with that input and their first impressions.
