Tiqets contributes to the retirement plan for its employees
The pension is arranged with Centraal Beheer PPI within the so-called Defined Contribution System (“DC System”). The contribution is based on the age and the salary of a person, with the maximum premium set by law. In a DC plan, future benefits fluctuate on the basis of investment earnings and the build-up capital is according to the life cycle principle:
→ Standard build-up capital is according to the lifecycle principle (default = Neutral)
Investment structure whereby the composition changes over time;
As your retirement date approaches, equity will incrementally be exchanged for long-term bonds to minimize the investment risk
→ You have the freedom of self investment and savings
Through the pension portal employees can create their own investment choices from a range of investment funds and one savings account;
It is your choice, but also your responsibility
In short:
Tiqets will contribute 50% of the maximum pension premium possible as of the date you join Tiqets;
Tiqets employees can voluntarily contribute up to 50% of the pension premium at any moment within your employment;
Partner’s and orphan’s pension is included;
Pension premiums are continued in case of disability;
All costs concerning administration of the pension are paid by Tiqets;
You have control over and insight in your pension and contributions via the Centraal Beheer PPI portal
Under the DC System, the contribution is calculated based on your age, your yearly salary and a 3% actuarial interest rate, also known as Type II.The resulting premium table is as follows:
The pension contribution is based on the applicable percentage and your pensionable salary, which is your yearly salary (including holiday allowances) minus the so-called franchise: the future state pension amount that is set by law every year. To help you calculate for yourself:
Pensionable salary = (your yearly salary) - (franchise)
Yearly salary = (monthly salary) x 12.96
Franchise (2021) = EUR 14.544,-
Yearly premium = % (see table above) x (pensionable salary (in EUR per year gross))
As an employee you can choose to contribute on top of the 50% that Tiqets contributes. The pension built up will not be lost if you move outside the Netherlands and will move with you. Please be aware of the fact that the pension account with Centraal Beheer PPI is not an account you can reach like a bank account and all savings will be in place in this pension account. If you have any questions on this, you can ask the People & Culture team or Centraal Beheer PPI directly within your personal portal.
